Festive Forest Exhibit Opens at Museum

The North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum announces a new themed exhibit for the holidays, A Festive Forest. Local residents Donita and Rob Kayton have donated their collection of handcarved wooden Santas  and their collection of handmade baskets for use in the exhibit. Several community groups are decorating trees for the exhibit. The museum will hold a fundraiser by selling tickets for a variety of items that have been donated by volunteers.

A Festive Forest will open on Friday, Nov. 23, and run through Saturday, Dec. 29. Make plans to stop by the museum before the holiday season ends to view the trees. Regular museum admission prices are in effect.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
