Our minds are absolute slaves to our body clocks. As we remember every year when the clocks “spring forward,” even an hour’s change can completely mess you up. But in a way, we do this to ourselves every single week. Since most people don’t get enough sleep during the week, they often try to make up for it on weekends.

Sleeping in even an hour or two for just two days can confuse your body clock., that extra sleep just makes you more tired at the start of the week, According to scientist because it can throw your body clock off by up to 45 minutes. This makes it even harder to get up on a Monday morning, even though you would think you would be well rested since you “caught up” on sleep over the weekend.

Mental health professionals opine that having a proper posture helps lessen the “Monday blues” to a certain extent. Sitting up straight while working and not slouching can help you feel more active!

Ensure that you get some fresh air and sunlight, by taking a small break from work on a Monday morning, this habit can make you feel rejuvenated.

Tips to make Mondays better include wearing a perfume with a peepy scent, so that it can make you feel energized throughout the day.

Smelling good is a calming for women

Another tip to beat “Monday blues” is to wear clothes with vibrant colors or carry along colorful bags and other accessories, as bright colors can instantly make you feel more enthusiastic! It works for my friend Robin Holley!

Working out at the gym or going for a run on the beach, before work, on a Monday morning can also help keep you energized throughout the day, thanks to all the endorphins it produces!
