Mary Louise Buffkin

Mary Louise Buffkin, 73, of Loris passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019.

Mrs. Buffkin was born in Loris, a daughter of Virginia Fowler and the late David Fowler. She was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Buffkin was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Buffkin, and four brothers, Curtis Fowler, David Fowler, Ronald Fowler and Donald Fowler.

Mrs. Buffkin is survived by her mother, Virginia Fowler of Loris; her son, Dewayne Buffkin (Sherry) of Loris; her daughters, Melissa Cox of Loris and Tiffany Buffkin of Green Sea; five grandchildren, Christina Cox, Chad Buffkin, Christopher Cooke, Brittany Buffkin and Hunter Cooke, all of Loris; one brother, James Fowler (Hazel) of Sophia, N.C.; and one sister, Gloria Jean Livingston (Jimmy) of Loris.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at Myrtle Green Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Greenwood officiating.
