Jimmy L. Wise

Jimmy L. Wise, 76, of Little River passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.

He is the son of the late James L. and Clara Atha Wise.

Jimmy is survived by his adoring wife of 40 years, Linda Wise, and his two children, son, Paul Lyons of Little River and daughter, Brooke Tyler (Derrick) of Conway. He was the loving grandfather of Daniel and Maggie Tyler and granddaughter of the heart Ranna Mohr.

He was predeceased by his brother, Billy Wise.

Jimmy was a former golf pro and loved to cheer on his beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats in basketball. He enjoyed vacations to Jamaica with his wife and their best friends, Joe and Cyndi Mohr. He will always be remembered as an amazing husband, father and Pops.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, in Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Little River.
