“GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club member, Debbie Ritter presented a club check in the amount of $1,000 as a contribution to Grand Strand Blue Star Mothers. Connie Muirhead, president of Grand Strand Blue Star Mothers, received the donation.
The Grand Strand Blue Star Mothers is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization that supports families whose family members are serving in the U.S. military and it also supports military members during their tour of service. Contributions of the GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club are given to charitable organizations through the club’s two annual fundraisers, Purses with Purpose Charity Event in April and its Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes in December.
