Mirella Silvana ‘Sylvia’ Faircloth

Mirella Silvana “Sylvia” Faircloth of Longs passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

Mrs. Faircloth was born in Massa, Italy, a daughter of the late Pietro  and Andreina Lazzarotti Irbetti.  She was a Catholic, loving mother, grandmother and caring friend.  She loved to travel and especially enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Mrs Faircloth was predeceased by her husband, Brice I. Faircloth Sr.;  her son, Brice I. Faircloth Jr.; one brother, Eliseo Irbetti; and  two sisters, Vera Isolani and Ilia Calvo.

Surviving are four daughters, Helen Cook of Loris, Gloria Pleasant (Charlie) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Wanda Doyle of Galivants Ferry and Wynonia Chinetti (Gerry) of Longs;  ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation was held from 2 until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
