Robert ‘Bobby’ Herbst III

Robert “Bobby”  Herbst III,  37, of Loris passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

He was born on July 9, 1981, in Stratford, N.J., the son of the Robert F. Herbst Jr. and Georgieann J. Sliwowski Herbst. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, stock car racing and football. He also loved to cook.

Mr. Herbst was predeceased by a step-brother, Kenny Landis, and a step-sister, GiGi Masso, and his grandfather, Robert F. Herbst, and step-grandfather, Sam Graifer.

Surviving are his girlfriend, Amanda Lopes; his children, Alicia Herbst, Alexis Herbst and Aliza Herbst; his sister, Teresa Hursey (Nick); his grandmother, Mary Graifer; his aunts, Theresa Raynor, Michelle Carosi-Herbst, Marianne Herbst and Cheryl Wilson; his uncle Steve Herbst; his niece, Jessie Hursey; and his nephews, Gavin Hursey and Nathan Hursey; and his step-sister, Linda Mullins.

A memorial mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
