David Joseph Sibbick

David Joseph Sibbick, 29, of Loris passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019. He was born on April 16, 1990, in New Haven, Conn. to Scott David Sibbick and Jodi Lynn Rubino. Mr. Sibbick worked with the SCDOT. His passions were music, motorcycles and shooting. He was a proud life member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include his father, Scott David Sibbick and wife Wendy of Loris; his mother, Jodi Lynn Rubino Walton and her husband Gary of Meriden, Conn.; his sister, Brittney Bishop and her husband Kevin of Meriden; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Bette Rubino of North Haven, Conn.; step-brothers, Dylan Gonzalez of Loris, Christopher Walton and wife Ashley of Meriden and Ryan Walton of Wallingford, Conn.; step-sister, Angelica Gonzalez of Loris; and his nephew, Ethan Walton of Meriden.

Mr. Sibbick was predeceased by his paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Hardwick Funeral Home. Memorial services will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tim Osment officiating.

Memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.

The family will also have a memorial service in Connecticut that will be announced later.
