The Rotary Club of Little River has joined the movement to establish little free libraries in our community. Hopefully, these libraries will place literature close to people who don’t have easy access to larger facilities.
The first little library in Little River was installed at Wampee United Methodist Church on Highway 90. It was a collaborative effort by the Rotary Club, the church and the Boy Scouts. Several Rotarians, church members, scouts and parents pitched in to install the facility.
The library is available to all.
The idea is to take something and replace it with something else and keep books in circulation.
