Paul M. Prince, 77, of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at his home following an illness. He was born on Sept. 30, 1941, in Loris, to the late Rufus Prince and the late Lula Gracie Wade Prince. Mr. Prince served his country with courage and honor in the United States Navy and was a Master Mason and forty-seven year member of Loris Lodge #205 AFM. He owned and operated True Value Hardware in Loris until his retirement. Mr. Prince was a longtime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Todd Prince of the home; his son, Gene Paul Prince and his wife Tammy of Loris; his two grandchildren, Chase Prince and his wife Emily of Conway and Taylor Prince of Florence; and his two sisters, Myrtle Debaghion of Awendaw and Wilma Cox of Loris.
Mr. Prince was predeceased by his parents; his three brothers, J.R. Prince, Jack Prince and Tommy Prince; and his sister, Bonnie Lee.
Visitation was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Hord officiating. Committal services were private.
