David Lynn Taylor

David Lynn Taylor, 72, of Little River died on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, N.C.

Born on Dec. 12, 1946, in High Point, N.C., he was the son of David E. and Annie Kate Hampton Taylor.

David is survived by his children, Jeffery Scott Taylor (Amanda), David Anthony Taylor (Megan), Mark Allen Taylor, Mike B. Taylor (Crystal), Sherry Blakley (Wayne) and Jennifer Taylor (Greg); brother, Tony Ray Taylor (Sherrie); 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Lee Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was at 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in Florence National Cemetery with military honors.
