James “Jimmy” Robert Morgan, 76, of Loris passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019. Mr. Morgan was born on Aug. 18, 1943, in Columbia to the late Harley Robert Morgan and the late Gladys Merdine Wilkerson Morgan. He served his country with courage and honor in the United States Navy and worked as district sales manager with Windsor Door until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife and loving companion of 46 years, Victoria Graham Morgan of Loris; his two sons, Robert E. “Bobby” Morgan (Dwayne Prosser) of South Congaree and Jason R. Morgan (Stacy) of Green Sea; his sister, Norma Morgan of Columbia; and three grandsons, Graham, Miller and Jackson Morgan, all of Green Sea.
Mr. Morgan was predeceased by his son, Brian Morgan; his sister, Joan Turner; and his brother, Jerry R. Morgan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hardwick Funeral Home. The family also had a memorial visitation at the home of Bobby Morgan on Thursday, Aug. 29, in South Congaree from 6 until 8 p.m. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, at Greenlawn Memorial Park located at 845 Leesburg Road in Columbia with the Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.
