Myrtle Beach was led by their top scorer Taylor Pirttima with a 91, followed by Sophia Livigni’s 97. Yana Jeram shot 100 and Kelly Campman’s 101 rounded out the scoring for the Lady Seahawks.
Eagle Nest Golf Course in Little River was home for the event.
North Myrtle Beach’s Cara Hilburn was the medalist and was named Player of the Year.
Coach Newt Merricks was very pleased with the win. “I was really proud of the girls. The entire team will be returning next year, so we are very excited. We played in the Lower State Qualifier on Monday and got fourth place shooting a 394. That means we will head to Hilton Head next Monday and Tuesday for the State Finals,” Merricks said.
