Walters is Waterway School secretary

Nicole Walters will probably be the first to greet you when you visit Waterway Elementary School or she will likely be the person you first talk to if you call. Nicole is the secretary and began her 9th year in August. She is from Conway and graduated from Conway High School and then Horry Georgetown Technical College.

Mrs. Walters has been married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, for 18 years. They have two children: Michael who is in the 9th grade and attends Conway High and is in the Pre-Engineering Program and Redden who attends North Myrtle Beach Middle School and is in the 6th grade.

Nicole says the most rewarding  part of her job is the “big hugs and little waves from her little friends “ known as the students.

When asked what her favorite quote was she quickly remembered what her Granny always told her “ It is what it is.” Just accept things you cannot change and move on.

Mike Walters, Nicole’s husband, is the most influential person in her life. He is “dependable, loving, genuine and a hard worker.” To her he needs an award for putting up with a sassy redhead! He is “amazing” says Nicole.

Nicole’s hobbies include eating, shopping, camping and spending time with family.

Nicole Walters represents Waterway Elementary well and most always can  answer many questions posed by students, staff and parents.
