Green Sea Floyds Trojans one game closer to championship

With the lower state 1A championship in sight the Green Sea Floyds Trojans are ready for the big game against Lake View High School Wild Gators on Friday, Nov. 29, with a kick-off time at 7:30 p.m. at Luther Enzor Field.

The Trojans played C.E. Murray High School War Eagles scoring 46-6 last Friday night which takes them one game closer to the championship game.

The GSF High School Facebook page post states, “It’s known as Black Friday but we are calling it ‘Black Out Friday’. Fill our stands and wear all black to our game Friday night against Lake View as we play for the title of Lower State Champs!”

This is a benchmark for the Trojans with head coach Kiefer who turned the team around leading the varsity players to the championship games this year.

If the GSF Trojans win this game they will be named the Lower State 1A Champions and will advance to the State Championship for 1A football on Friday, Dec. 6, at Benedict College in Columbia.

Glenn Hardee and Mike Suggs with Loris Broadcasting Inc. will be at the game Friday to give fans and listeners the actual play-by-play action on the field. Suggs said, “If Green Sea Floyds Trojans win we will travel to Columbia to give our listeners the action packed game live.”
