David Clifton Creech

David Clifton Creech, 65, of Little River passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.

Born on March 20, 1954, he was the son of the late J.R. Griggs and Edna Hall Hopkins.

Mr. Creech is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Vicki Lester Creech; sons, David Flint (Laura) and Cameron Creech; mother, Edna Hopkins; brothers, Roger and Mike Griggs; and seven grandchildren.

First and foremost, David was devoted to God.  He loved playing his guitar and singing, particularly with his wife Vicki. He was also an avid sports enthusiast. He played football at Catawba College for four years. David loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. at Living Water Baptist Church in Little River.  The Family will received friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial followed in Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of David to Living Water Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1569 Hwy. 9 E., Little River, S.C. 29566.
