Mary Carolyn Adams, 88, of Little River passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born on May 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James Ernest and Mary Croomie (McColl) Jordan. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband and true love, George B. Adams, and two sisters, Betty J. Deam of Fayetteville, N.C., and Faye J. Williamson of Bardstown, KY.
Mrs. Adams graduated from Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, N.C. and Watts School of Nursing in Durham, N.C. During her nursing career, she held Director of Nursing positions at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, N.C, RJR Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Va., and Loris Community Hospital in Loris. She was a devoted mother, wife and a Presbyterian.
Carolyn is survived by her son, William T. Neville III of Little River, and one sister, Joan Ramsey of Charlotte, N.C.

A private service will be held at a later date.
