The North Myrtle Beach High School Lady Chiefs third round game with North Augusta ended their season as the Lady Yellow Jackets advanced by a 75-60 score.
The Lady Chiefs had a long day of travel and then had to face a team that has won three straight state championships and was 43-0 at home.
Faced with those obstacles North Myrtle Beach got off to a slow start in the first quarter, trailing 20-10 after eight minutes. North Augusta then took charge in the second quarter, leading 41-21 at halftime. They retained their lead after three quarters, 53-34, and despite a late rally by the Lady Chiefs won it 75-60.
Jordan Berger scored 21 points in her final varsity game and sister Jenna added 16 points. The Lady Chiefs finished the season with a 22-5 record.
