Earl Adams Jr., 72, of Loris passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Alton Earl Adams Sr. and the late Louraine L. Russell Adams. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Adams enjoyed fishing, farming, artwork and going to church. He attended New Life Community Baptist Chapel. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Betty Adams; one sister, Shirley Marlowe; and one brother, Robert Adams.
Survivors include two brothers, the Rev. J. T. Adams (Mary) of Conway and Charles F. Adams (Linda) of Little River; two uncles, the Rev. Marshall Russell of Loris and Alton Russell (Joyce) of Raleigh, N.C.; two aunts, Bertha Holt (Thomas) of Conway and Marie Dillard of Loris; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Monday, June 8, at Heavenly Hills Cemetery at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. T. Adams and the Rev. Marshall Russell officiating.
