William T. Moulden

William T. Moulden, 77, of Longs passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020.

Born in New Orleans, La., he was the son of Everett T. and Garnet Heath Moulden.

Bill, as everyone knew him, served in the Navy for 17 years and in the newspaper industry for over three decades. After retiring from the Columbus Dispatch as manager, he moved south, where he was a member at North Myrtle Beach Christian Church and enjoyed making wooden crosses to give to anyone he encountered throughout his community. Bill’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family, playing golf, coin collecting and camping. He will be remembered as a hardworking, “all in” kind of man who wanted happiness for all he knew.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Thomas Moulden; daughters, Michelle Dustman (Dan), Shawn G. Miller (Randy), and Cheryl Knauf (Steve Clark); grandchildren, Erin Miller, Megan Miller, Joshua Dustman, Emilyann Dustman, Olivia Knauf and Ella Knauf; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Dustman and Doyle Dustman.

William was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Eliason.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, at the North Myrtle Beach Christian Church.

A guest book is available at www.leefhandcrematory.com.

Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach served the family.
