Nadine C. Peavy

Nadine C. Peavy, 72, of Loris, wife of the late Joseph M. Peavy, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2020.

Mrs. Peavy was born in Loris, a daughter of the late C.R. and Letha Prince Tyler. She was a member of Cane Branch Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, choir member,  Vacation Bible School director, one of the church pianists and was active in other areas of the church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Prior to retirement, she was employed by Beach Benefits of North Myrtle Beach.

Surviving are one son, the Rev. Tyler Caines and his wife Danielle of Loris; two grandchildren, Gage Caines and Gracen Caines; and one sister, Glenda Randolph and her husband Wayne of Loris.

Funeral services were  held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday from Cane Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jon Johnson officiating.  Burial followed in the church Cemetery.

The family received friends in the Christian Life Center of Cane Branch Baptist Church from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
