Frances “Shirley” Shackett, 95, of Little River died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Jan. 15, 1925, in Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Ethel Bleau Champagne.
She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
Mrs. Shackett is survived by her children, Charles D. Shackett, John F. Shackett and Edward J. Shackett; one granddaughter, Sandra LeBlanc; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Evelyn LeBlanc.
She wss predeceased by one sister, Marcia Kubacki, and one nephew, David Kubacki.
A funeral mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Inurnment followed in the church columbarium niche.
