Paul E. Weber, 93, of North Myrtle Beach died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on Aug. 25, 1925, in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late Paul S. and Virginia Moore Weber. He was married to the late Ann Cornell Weber for 45 years.
Mr. Weber served his country proudly during World War II in the United States Army Air Corps. In Greensboro, N.C., he founded in 1959 and operated Merchants and Manufacturers Supply, Inc. for 45 years. He was a ruling Elder in Sedgefield Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, James P. “JP” Weber (Jennifer); three daughters, Nena P. Weber, Carrieann C. Highley and Josephine B. Selin; one sister, Maryann W. Shephard (Rojdah); and grandchildren, Austin Highley (Cathy), Seth Highley (Kate) and JP Weber Jr.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, Dec. 28, in Lee Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home in Greensboro.
Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro on Saturday Dec. 29, at 2:30 p.m.
