Ambassador program looking for volunteers to help at events

The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is a very welcoming and friendly place thanks to the volunteers dressed in matching blue polo shirts. They are the Sports Ambassadors.

In partnership with the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, the city of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation created the North Myrtle Beach Sports Tourism Ambassador program.

You will find this group of dedicated volunteers around North Myrtle Beach at various sporting events. They are easily accessible and always eager to answer questions and interact with the spectators.

Along with providing support for tournament directors and the city for community events, they also promote the various amenities and attractions available at the parks and in North Myrtle Beach.

Most of the families are here over two days or more and are looking for other things to do between games.

The Sports Tourism Ambassador program will help to ensure that these new visitors experience the full range of hospitality that North Myrtle Beach is known for.

By providing a friendly face and welcoming conversation, our guests are left with a positive impression of the community.

The Sports Ambassadors are very important to the success of the sporting events in North Myrtle Beach.

The city of North Myrtle Beach is currently seeking eager volunteers to join the Sports Tourism Ambassador program.
