Irene Gerrald Harrelson, 88, of Green Sea passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019. Mrs. Harrelson was born on Dec. 23, 1930, in Mullins to the late Samuel Gurley Gerrald and the late Lennie Joanna Grainger Gerrald. Everette Vereen, 52, of Little River passed away last week. A viewing was held on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Latimers Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 9, at 1 p.m. at Popular AME Church in Wampee. Burial followed in the Popular Cemetery. The family gathered at 4051 Lincoln Heights Road in Little River. Douglas ‘Michael’ Duncan, 68, of Tabor City, N.C., passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at his home. Mr. Duncan was born on Oct. 5, 1951, in Loris. He was a brakeman for CSX Railroad in Florence and worked as a sales representative for Home Security Life Insurance Company in Conway for many years.
