Dagmar Marie Wikander “Wickie” Moore, 93, of North Myrtle Beach passed away peacefully at Embrace Hospice House on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019. She was born on May 11, 1925, in Redford, Mich. and was the youngest child of Gunnar and Martha Henze Wikander. She and her husband, Donald, moved to North Myrtle Beach in 1949. She became the first female mail carrier in the history of North Myrtle Beach where she was employed for 30 years. Anne M. Burgess, 94, of North Myrtle Beach died on Friday, March 15, 2019 at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center in Little River. Born on March 22, 1924, in Royalton, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Eleanor Menckowski Smorczeski. Mrs. Burgess was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach. Survivors include her son, Russell R. Burgess Jr. and his wife Sue; two grandchildren, Joellyn Gurganus and her husband Keith and Rusty Burgess; three great-grandchildren, Madee Burgess and Austin Burgess and Burgess Gurganus; and several nieces and nephews. Tebow visited Loris

Tim Tebow and American Residential Services (ARS) came to Loris this past Wednesday to help a family in need. The two worked together to donate a HVAC system to a Loris family who needed a working system in their home. Tebow posed for pictures with many people who stopped by the event. He can be seen with Angela Ermi, who lives with her parents in Loris and got a new HVAC system for her home from the ARS Rescue Rooter’s ARS Cares program.

Howard “Howie” Stewart Lockey Jr., 43, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 23, 1975, to Howard and Betty Lockey. Kathleen “Kitty” Elizabeth Sherer Moss, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019. Kathleen had been a long time resident of Hopewell, Va. Marion Rowinski, 92, of Calabash, N.C., died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, March 4, 2019. Marion was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., to Lottie and Isadore Grzedzinski.
