A surprise 100th birthday celebration was held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, for a McLeod Health Loris volunteer who was born when Woodrow Wilson was president. Hospital staff, physicians and administration gathered to celebrate Ms. Sallie Kapps with a 100 themed birthday party in the hospital cafeteria. “Mrs. Sallie is an inspiration to us all,” said Scott Montgomery, McLeod Loris Administrator. “She has a true servant’s heart and wonderful spirit.” Mrs. Kapps has been a volunteer at McLeod Health Loris since 1984.
