Charles ‘Chuck’ Edward Strazinsky

Charles “Chuck” Edward Strazinsky, 70, of Longs died on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, with his family by his side in Longs,.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John and Julia Strazinsky and was the youngest of three siblings.

Chuck was a warehouse manager at a biomedical company for thirty-seven years in the Cleveland area before retiring to Longs in 2005. He could always be found tinkering in his yard, building something for a friend or working around the neighborhood. He had a big smile and contagious laugh that could be heard by everyone. All of Chuck’s buddies enjoyed his friendship and he will be missed by everyone.

Chuck was a no nonsense guy that was bigger than life. He spoke his mind, supported others and loved his wife Patricia (Patty Cake) for 33 years of marriage. A perfectly matched couple joined to create a “Brady Bunch” family of his sons Chuck Jr.; Bryan (Heather); and Jonathan (Lora); Patricia’s daughters, Evonne Papay; Sheri Hohenstein (David); and Rochelle Rinehart (Tim). This loving couple witnessed the creation of sixteen wonderful grandchildren, Sophia, Mason, Erika, Toni, Jacob, Zachary, Cassidy, Isabella, Max, Dominic, Amanda, David, Alex, Joshua, Emily and Madison. Chuck loved to spoil his grandchildren and he often did the same for family and friends around the barbeque grill or special home gatherings.

Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Labuda; and his brother, Bill.

At his request, a small service and celebration of life will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.

Donations may be sent to McLeod Hospice Care who cared for Chuck during his final days.

A guest book is available at www.leefhandcrematory.com.

Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
