David Carroll Buffkin

David Carroll Buffkin, 63, of Green Sea passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born on Feb. 9, 1956, in Loris to the late Carroll Lester Buffkin and the late Queta Vae Sides Buffkin. He worked as site manager for SC Rock at the Goretown Mine and was a member of Grassy Bay Baptist Church. The family would especially like to thank Regency Hospice for all of their tremendous care and compassion.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Buffkin of the home; his son, Derek Buffkin and wife Dana of Loris; his brother, Steve Buffkin and wife Terri of Loris; his sister, Brenda Stevens and husband Randall of Green Sea; three grandchildren, Kale, Ashlyn and Rori Buffkin, all of Loris.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Billy Phillips officiating. Committal services followed at Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris.
