Dianne D. Gardner of Longs passed into eternal rest on Friday, May 15, 2020, after a prolonged illness. She was the daughter of the late, James Townley and Florence R. Nicholson Deason of Pineville, N.C. She was retired from GE Capital and was a member of North Strand Community Church located in Little River.
We are forever grateful in a life shared through her blessings and will remain grateful to her legacy woven through our lives with daily praise, grace and love. We do not mourn but rejoice in her eternal happiness and everlasting peace.
Surviving are her son, James Mark Headen (Carmen); and daughters, Mary LeAnn Xavier and Cynthia Rene’ Gardner-Stebbings (Rob) Maxwell and Kathryn Gardner Caspar (Mark); and grandchildren Joel, Naya, Brandon, Samuel, Cole and Clare.
Funeral services have been scheduled for the interment of both Dianne Deason Headen Gardner and Franklin Kneece Gardner of Columbia/Little River to be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at The Village Church at Park Street (formerly known as Park Street Baptist Church), 2204 Park Street, Columbia, S.C. 29201, concluding with a USAF Honor Guard interment at 12 noon at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, S.C. 29229.
Further commemorative services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at North Strand Community Church, 2582 Mt. Zion Road, Little River, S.C. 29566.
