Donald Inman of Little River passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at his home following an extended illness.
Born on April 18, 1956, Donald became a master carpenter and a wonderful photographer.
While in good health, he enjoyed deep sea fishing and worked on charter boats out of Little River. Donald had a keen sense of humor and loved pulling pranks on unsuspecting loved ones. He never met a stranger and was a kind and humble person, willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Always willing to forgive a wrong, his friends and family knew him as a loyal and loving man and a lover of simple pleasures. He will be truly missed by those he loved and by those who loved him.
We weep at his loss, but also rejoice that Donald is now healed from his earthly suffering and in Heaven with his Saviour. There, he joins his parents, Ralph Ivan and Laura Bennett Inman, and two brothers, Charles Inman and Freddy Inman, who preceded Donald in death.
Donald is survived by a brother, Ricky Inman (Linda) of Matthews, N.C.; two nephews, Robert Inman (Christy) of Fuquay Varina, N.C., and Reid Inman of Matthews; and three great-nephews, Brady, Bryce and Brooks Inman of Fuquay Varina; and his former wife and friend, Carol, who resides in Lillington, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
