The ginger added to the syrup acts as a natural anti-inflammatory.

The confusion of cannabis is that there are two species. Species I is the hemp plant extract with all the cannabinoids except for the THC, meaning it has all the beneficial properties of cannabis without the high. Species II is the marijuana plant itself which is still illegal in South Carolina.
Both syrups include locally made honey from Glenn Tyler’s family farm located in Loris. Tyler has been a sideliner beekeeper since 1980 with 50 to 60 hives that he has named Southern Crest Apiaries. He has been a member of the Southern Carolina Beekeepers Association (SCBA) since 1982; a state-wide beekeeping organization that has up of 20 local associations. Tyler was president of the Horry County Beekeepers Association (HCBA) which covers the lower Pee Dee area. Tyler says there are nearly 2,000 beekeepers in the state of South Carolina, most being hobbyists; most are sideliners with very few commercial operations. This honey is also added to both syrups.
The benefits of honey to one’s diet include claims of its miraculous healing properties claiming that it can prevent cancer and heart disease, reduce ulcers, ease digestive problems, regulate blood sugar, soothe coughs and sore throats and increase athletic performance. High quality honey is rich in antioxidants which include organic acids and phenolic compounds such as flavonoids. Scientists believe the combination of these compounds give honey the antioxidant power.
CBD oils and hemp oils are both natural components of cannabis. CBD oils are cannabis oil that has a significant content of cannabidiol. CBD oil is made from the flowers, leaves and stalks of hemp and hemp oils are made from the seeds of the plant.
It is considered relief and not feeling drunk or the high from a marijuana plant. Recent studies have suggested that cannabidiol could play a role in the treatment of arthritis with some feeling the relief of pain associated with chronic conditions.
Researchers believe that the CBD interacts with the receptors in the brain and immune system to create the effects of pain management. Using the elderberry CBD oil syrup can assist with liposomes and melatonin like power to get a restful night’s sleep and contributes to a deeper more structured sleep. The CBD oils are known to aid relaxation and can be used as an alternative treatment for anxiety.
In the majority of cases, it takes about an hour to feel the effects of CBD oil after ingested. However, effects may be felt in as little as 20 minutes on an empty stomach. The more food you’ve eaten before consuming CBD oil, the longer it takes for the effects to kick in.
Since CBD has no psychoactive effects, it is not considered a hazardous substance. With research Chrissie has the elderberry CBD oil tested at Botanactor Services with a certificate of analysis. The report shows there is zero percent THCa, THC, CBDa, CBN and CBG, with 6.8 percent CBD. Her elderberry CBD syrup has been approved after testing.
Chrissie suggests starting out with one tablespoon of the elderberry CBD oil syrup before bedtime to help with sleep. If a person needs more help with insomnia, inflammation, anxiety or choric pain to take three tablespoons at night. She suggests trying with the two tablespoons to begin and bump up the dose one tablespoon until finding the right amount to help with the conditions they need help with.
CBD oil is legal in South Carolina and can be purchased in local smoke shops. Chrissie assures that non-hazardous chemicals are in the CBD oil she provides in her syrup. Her distribution area has grown and her syrups are available at Powers Pharmacy and Blanton Building Supplies in Loris, but she has doctor’s offices, pharmacies and stores throughout the Grand Strand and as far as West Virginia providing her elderberry syrups for purchase.
