The Family Summer Event at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s began on Saturday, June 22, featuring free fun workshops, activities and games where kids and families can learn skills to enjoy great outdoor adventures together. The interactive activities continue through Sunday, July 21, at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations across the United States and Canada.
Free weekly workshops are conducted by store experts every Thursday and Saturday from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. providing the entire family the chance to learn the basics of camping, fishing, shooting and archery.
Other workshops include water sports, hiking and backyard adventures (workshops recommended for kids ages 6-12).
All workshops are approximately 20 minutes in length.
