Freddie Rae Faircloth Triplett

Freddie Rae Faircloth Triplett, 86, of Loris passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at her home following an illness. Mrs. Triplett was born on Aug. 22, 1932, in Loris to the late Harry Faircloth and the late Lizzie Allene Hardwick Faircloth. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Carson Triplett of the home; her daughter, Brenda Crabb and her husband Greg of Hampton, Va.; daughter-in-law, Martha Carter of Longs; step-sons, Richard Carter and wife Polly of North Myrtle Beach, and Johnny Triplett of Tennessee; step-daughter, Cynthia Woodward and her husband, Bill of Richmond, Va.; her brother, Larry Faircloth of Tabor City, N.C.; her three sisters, Vernelle Harrelson and her husband Doris of Tabor City, Betty C. Stocks and her husband Wayne of Loris, and Sharon Todd and her husband Harris of Longs; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Triplett was predeceased by her two sons, Jeffery and Gregory Carter; three brothers, Lorentus Faircloth, Horace Faircloth and Wendell Faircloth; and her sister, Rachelle Resca.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 20, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Graham and the Rev. Carroll Todd officiating. Committal services followed at Buck Creek Cemetery.
