Enjoy Simply Tina, a tribute to Tina Turner, in a free Friday, June 21, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. concert at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex Amphitheater. The free concert is part of the Sounds of Summer concert series presented by the North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation Department and Food Lion.
Simply Tina is a world class Tina Turner tribute band composed of talented musicians, singers and dancers. A full live band – no lip syncing, no backing tracks. The lead singer, Karena Korokous, transforms herself into the legendary Tina Turner on stage. Simply Tina reproduces the glitz, glamour and overall concert feel of a live Tina Turner concert. Since Miss Turner’s retirement, Simply Tina comes the closest you can get to the real Tina Turner concert experience. Anyone who loves Tina Turner and her music will love this show.
