Lenore Schiavelli, 72, of North Myrtle Beach, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late Humphrey and Mildred Davis. Born and raised in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., she graduated with honors from New York State University at Oneonta, N.Y. Lenore was retired from her career as municipal clerk of the City of Englewood, N.J. The only thing that could drive a person crazy about Lenore was how organized she always seemed to be. She was a charming, warm and delightful individual with a great love of life and wonderful sense of humor. She was truly hard not to love.
Lenore was the beloved wife of husband and best friend Frank Schiavelli; proud and loving mother of Sean Carnahan of Ridgefield Park, N.J.; stepmother of Catherine Scherer (Chris) of Hockessin, Del., loving Nana to grandchildren Ryan and Brook Carnahan and Braedon and Elliana Scherer.
Lenore is survived by her brother, Rob Davis of New York City; her great-nieces, Genevieve Joy Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., and Robin Watters Marquis of Naugatuck, Conn. Lenore was preceded in death by her sister, Emmie-Lee Watters
The last thing she wanted was anybody making a big fuss about her passing, so instead this is meant to make a big thing about her life! It was one of joy, love and caring. Rest in peace Lenore. We carry you in our hearts, send you enormous quantities of love and thank you for being the great person you were!
