Lillie Mae Tyler, 85 of Loris passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019.
Mrs. Tyler was born in Conway a daughter of the late Reedy and Aleen Jones Graham. She was a member of Dogwood Hill Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and helped with the Good News Club. Mrs. Tyler also sang in the Good News Quartet for many years and was a devout woman of God. She was an excellent cook, loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by two sons, Randy Lee Tyler and Ricky Dale Tyler; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Jean Tyler; and one brother, Billy Graham.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Leroy Tyler of Loris; two sons, Glen Dale Skipper (Barbara) of Charleston and Michael Tyler (Carol) of Dillon, one daughter, Teresa “Gail” Graham (Lavern) of Loris; one brother, George C. Graham (Jean) of Conway; one sister, Dora Lee Sharp (Jim) of Conway; nine grandchildren’ two special grandchildren, Christopher Graham and Morgan Hayes; many great – grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 5-7p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec.30, at Dogwood Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and the Rev. Alvin Jackson officiating. Burial followed in Princeville Cemetery in Loris.
