The grand opening for Loris Sports Complex Softball tournament was held on Saturday, March 14. A ribbon cutting had been planned on opening day at the Loris recreation department where eight softball teams were competing as they played two games each on Saturday, March 14, at 9 a.m. Left to right are Councilman Mike Suggs, Loris Recreation Sports director Tom Cocke, director of public works department and code enforcement Brandon Harrelson and Mayor Todd Harrelson.

The cool weather could not deter these three young girls from ordering Sno-Cones as they watch their sisters play in the second softball tournament hosted by the Loris Sports Complex.
