Otto E. Lewis, 83, of Longs died on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach.
Born on June 7, 1935, in Wampee, he was the son of the late Julius Pechay Lewis and Ava Ann Benton Lewis.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his children, Edward Lewis, Cynthia Beal, Patricia Bane and Diana Farrell; brothers, Julius Pechay (J.P.) and Edmond Lewis; brother-in-law, William Shay; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his faithful K-9 companion, Zoe.
He was predeceased by his wife, Norma Shay Lewis; brothers, Archie, Oscar, Odis and Elroy; sisters, Idelle Giles, Alta Powell and Annie Stephens.
The family received friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at Wampee Baptist Church. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
