North Myrtle Beach residents have been working diligently to save the 9.4-acre site known to locals as Ingram Dunes from total destruction. In February the city of North Myrtle Beach received a $510,000 grant from the South Carolina Conservation Bank for the purchase and preservation of Ingram Dunes.
