Robert William Long, most recently of Myrtle Beach, peacefully left this world for a better one on Friday, May 8, 2020. He was known to most as Bob, but was Buddy to his beloved Flossie (née Florence Gaus) to whom he was married for 65 years. Bob was born and raised in Framingham, Mass., in 1930. William Eddie Bullock Sr., 65,  of Tabor City,  N.C., passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at his residence. Born on Feb. 1, 1955, in Loris, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edith G. Bullock. Mr. Bullock was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. He worked with Baiden Associates as a crane operator for over twenty years. Anna Marie Hipp of Loris passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020. She was born on April 17, 1983, the daughter of Robert Chester Hipp and Janice Weathers Hipp, who survive her. She was predeceased by her grandparents, J.C. and Edith Hipp of Loris and Bill and Osie Weathers of Spartanburg. She died at home after an illness and hospitalization. Wayne Mussehl, 76, of Calabash, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Wayne was born on May 12, 1943, to Chester and Clara Mussehl in Washington, D.C. After graduating from Frank W. Ballou High School in 1963 he decided he wanted to serve his country. Wayne joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the 3rd infantry division in 1969. Sea turtles nesting season begins in North Myrtle Beach

That means we will hopefully be seeing these endangered and ancient creatures soon here in North Myrtle Beach. NMBHS seniors appreciate having graduation on their football field

By Ruben Lowman North Myrtle Beach seniors have the option to participate in an in-person graduation ceremony, including a group commencement that will take place on the high school football field. Students can choose between a socially-distanced group ceremony with up to two guests, or an individualized ceremony including eight of their loved ones.
