Chiefs teams beat visiting Conway in doubleheader

The North Myrtle Beach High School girls and boys basketball teams gave the visiting Conway teams a double beating last Tuesday, with the girls winning 56-4. That’s not a typo. Then the boys team put on a defensive show with a 55-31 victory. The Lady Chiefs opened the scoring when Riley Vincent swished a three-point shot soon after the game started. The Academy for Arts, Science, and Technology High School’s We The People Competition Team won the State Championship on Friday Dec. 13, 2019 in Columbia.
