Safety boating course offered

America’s Boating Course, a boating safety class, will be offered by America’s Boating Club, also known as the North Strand Sail & Power Squadron.  Most vessel insurance companies offer a discount to boaters who have successfully completed this course,

The class will take place on Saturday, June 22.  It will begin at 8 a.m. and run until about 5 p.m.  The cost is $40 for members and $65 for non-members.   It includes a textbook.  Additional family members pay $20 and share the book.  A light breakfast and delicious lunch will be served for no additional fee.

Join at the door for member pricing  or join at the end of class and get credit towards membership dues.

This course will be held at the Elks Lodge at 250 Highway 57 Little River.
