Small is grand marshal

Marlisa Small, philanthropist, performer, business woman and patriot, is the grand marshal for the 2019 North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 16.

She recently made the top 10 finalists at the 2018 Ms. Senior America Pageant in Atlantic City.

In November 2018, she won the Education Award for the Outstanding Non-profit for her charity. Bold and Beautiful Wigs for Cancer, at the Artists Music Guild (AMG) Hertiage Awards in Charlotte, N.C., where Ms. Senior America state queens were escorted on the red carpet and presented the awards.

Another of her most recent highlights includes singing the National Anthem with World War II Veteran, 96-year-old Roy Hall and his daughter Candy.

Small is the owner of Marlisa’s Wig Studio & Day Spa in Little River where she is a resident.
