The public is invited to enjoy a free movie featuring The Lego Movie 2 (PG) on Friday, July 12 at McLean Park in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. The movie starts 15 minutes after sunset at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Patrons and movie-goers are encouraged to bring their beach chair or a blanket to sit on. Concessions will be available from the North Myrtle Beach Lions Club.
The free movie is part of the North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation Department’s Movies at McLean series sponsored by Ledo Pizza.
North Myrtle Beach Public Safety will be providing free child safety seat checkups from certified technicians.
The Lego Movie 2 is about the citizens of Bricksburg as they face a dangerous new threat when LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space start to wreck everything in their path. The battle to defeat the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds that test their courage and creativity.
