The Mighty Lion Award is given to a teacher or support staff member each month who has gone above and beyond in their job. A nomination is made to recognize those who go beyond their job description to help others. Thomasena Washington was surprised to receive this award,.“I do my job and never expected to receive this award,” says Washington. Pictured left to right are Dr. Davis, Richard Crumley, Thomasena Washington and Josh Cutright. The program began this school year to bring recognition and appreciation to the staff at Loris High School.
