Thomas Henry Teyssier

Thomas Henry Teyssier, 79, of North Myrtle Beach, formerly of Jackson, MO, passed away on Sunday Dec. 29, 2019. He was born on Dec. 7, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Ferdinand and Dorothy (Pillars) Teyssier.

Tom is survived by his son, Bernard V. Teyssier and his wife Barbara of Bridgeport, WV; sister, Aleen Dammann of Long Beach, MS; grandchildren, Thomas W. Teyssier and his wife Clover, Daniel Freeman and Shay Freeman, all of Bridgeport, WV, and Bradley Vipond and his wife Julie of Elkhorn, NE.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean June Teyssier.

Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a 30 year law enforcement veteran. He retired in 1994 from the United States Treasury Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms where he served as a Special Agent. He was a past commander at American Legion Post 186, in Little River.

A memorial service will be held at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens in Little River on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. with a celebration of life gathering for friends and family at American Legion Post 186, in Little River.
