Grainger is first guest speaker at Yaupon Garden Club meeting

Social distancing at McLean Park was made possible through the generosity of the city of North Myrtle Beach. President Graceann Phillips welcomed everyone as they enjoyed a picnic lunch. She recognized Lou Haywood who introduced the speaker, Jim Grainger, grounds superintendent for the city of North Myrtle Beach. First sea turtle nest found in North Myrtle Beach

The Times spoke with Linda Mataya of the North Myrtle Beach Sea Turtle Patrol to find out more information about our summer guests and the ways residents and visitors can help protect them and their delicate environment. Sea turtles nesting season begins in North Myrtle Beach

That means we will hopefully be seeing these endangered and ancient creatures soon here in North Myrtle Beach.
