A 12-foot by 16-foot LED Screen is being installed at the southwestern corner of Highway 17 and Robert Edge Parkway The SCDOT-approved sign will have a brick base and landscaping. Constructed to withstand winds of up to 140 mph, the sign will help promote city festivals, concerts, sports tourism and other events and will share city information during hurricanes and other incidents.

The general election for North Myrtle Beach is November 5, 2019. Polls open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm. Offices included: Council Member Crescent Beach Ward 2019-2023, Council Members Cherry Grove Ward 2019-2023, Council Members At- Large 2019-2023. All precincts vote for all candidates. To vote citizens must be registered to vote by October 15. Contact the Horry County Board of Voter Registration at (843) 915-5440. Obtain absentee ballots through Horry County Voter Registration. The Embers will perform tonight in free concert

The public is invited to enjoy a free concert featuring The Embers on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Horseshoe on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.  Concert-goers can expect an incredible show of beach music hits. Group participates in prayer walk

On the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 28, a large group of steadfast prayer warriors gathered once again to pray over all students and staff members of various schools in North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. The annual gathering began several years ago by Pastor Jon Feld of a powerhouse church. As the procession of vehicles met at Riverside Elementary School the prayers began with raising their hands and 60 plus voices praising our Lord for the protection of all students. The Coffee With Friends will be held at the meeting room in the library and is open to the public.
