David Lynn Taylor, 72, of Little River died on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, N.C. Born on Dec. 12, 1946, in High Point, N.C., he was the son of David E. and Annie Kate Hampton Taylor. David is survived by his children, Jeffery Scott Taylor (Amanda), David Anthony Taylor (Megan), Mark Allen Taylor, Mike B. Taylor (Crystal), Sherry Blakley (Wayne) and Jennifer Taylor (Greg); brother, Tony Ray Taylor (Sherrie); 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Audrey Marie Casaer, 82, of  Little River passed away at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019.  Born on Sept. 17, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Stuart and Laura Marie Shaw Hollar. Mrs. Casaer is survived by her son, John Casaer; daughter, Debra Casaer; brother, Robert Hollar; and sisters, Beverly Devers and Shirley Scheer. Along with her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Charles Casaer. Arnette  A. Hill, 75, of Whiteville, N.C., passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House. Born on Nov. 29, 1943, in New London, Conn., she was the daughter of  James D.  and Elise Dart Beck. Mrs. Hill  was sweet, very quiet, shy, generous and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was very important to her. She helped raise her grandchildren and loved to shop, even if it was just window shopping. Virginia Lee Harlan Myers of Loris passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at the age of 74. “Jenny” was born on March 25, 1945, in Clifton City, Mo., to Ollie L. Harlan and Mable Mae Todd Harlan. She grew up in Clifton City and graduated from Otterville High School. She was married to Thomas H. Myers on March 23, 1964. Jenny was well loved and respected in Sedalia and Boonville, Mo., where she lived and worked before retiring to South Carolina. Sheri Jane Rabon, 50, of Loris passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at her home. Ms. Rabon was born on Dec. 20, 1968, in Loris to Larry Carl Rabon and Shirley Jane Johnson Rabon. Paul M. Prince, 77, of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at his home following an illness. He was born on Sept. 30, 1941, in Loris, to the late Rufus Prince and the late Lula Gracie Wade Prince. Mr. Prince served his country with courage and honor in the United States Navy and was a Master Mason and forty-seven year member of Loris Lodge #205 AFM. Patricia Ann Cribb Phipps, 69, of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.
